Ive been going back and forth on making this review because I'm still so surprised by what happened to begin with. I will say the shop is clean and the staff is friendly. I scheduled a tattoo with Mike Oulette a week or two ahead of time. We messaged on Instagram and I shared the pictures of the 2 tattoos I wanted. I said I wanted them exactly like the pictures. He told me he was happy to do them and was excited. When I arrived for my appt he told me he hadn't finished up drawing the tattoos which was confusing because I already gave him the designs. He convinced me to adjust one of the tattoos to make it easier to tattoo. Fine. The second tattoo was a complete redraw and frankly was so bad I had to say no altogether. (I should have said no to both tattoo designs, my mistake). We go to do my other design on my arm. The tattoo reference is bright pinks and purples. I wanted it to look very girly and bright. Throughout the tattoo he made comments about other clients who had come in and were so upset with his designs they left crying. He was speaking very poorly about them being unhappy with his design. When I was finished I was really upset about the way it looked. It looked nothing like my reference. After speaking with the owner of the shop he also agreed I did not get the tattoos promised to me. And offered me a refund which I took. But I do think this deserves a review as Mike did not even come close to achieving the end result he promised. I had to spend triple what he quoted me to have it fixed by a more professional artist. The first picture is the design. The second is the tattoo I got from Seaport and the third is the rework I had to have done. Very disappointed. 2 stars is solely for the owner trying to make it right. ETA: You're right I didn't show up for that appointment because I didn't feel confident in the artist achieving the bright colors expected in the original design based on his portfolio. If I had shown up the artist would not have made money during those hours as you were doing the rework for free and could have taken walk ins all day. You didn't meet my expectations before or after. I didn't even mention that Mike over charged me after quoting me a price $50 cheaper. Im sharing my honest experience with your shop. It was negative.

If you’re thinking of going to Seaport Tattoo don’t think anymore, go! I’ve been going to Seaport for many years. Jimmy, the owner, is my artist, his work and talent is the BEST! I’ve also been tattoo’ed by 3 other artist at Seaport. Jimmy runs a top notch shop therefore I trust any artist he has working for him to do my work, they are all truly talented. The Shop itself is immaculate, very clean and the energy is like no other. The entire staff is super friendly, they all make you feel welcomed and comfortable. 10/10 all day everyday!!

If you’re thinking of going to Seaport Tattoo don’t think anymore, go! I’ve been going to Seaport for many years. Jimmy, the owner, is my artist, his work and talent is the BEST! I’ve also been tattoo’ed by 3 other artist at Seaport. Jimmy runs a top notch shop therefore I trust any artist he has working for him to do my work, they are all truly talented. Was a little nervous going in, as expected, but Cali made a warm welcome as I am a first time client here at the shop. I went in for a septum piercing and a beautiful septum piercing I got! 10/10 cool environment, cool people, top notch cleanliness.

Was very nice staff. Got my first tattoo here. The artist did a bad job. It’s not horrible, the art itself is pretty, but she just copied a design when I thought she would make it her own. Artist was clearly inexperienced. I even asked artists who did my more recent tattoos. The tattoo ended up healing one half faded and the other half bled out (upper arm tattoo). Also hoped she would do something more original with the references but she kind of just copied one of the photos I showed, not a big deal and obviously I saw it before I got it so won’t complain much about that. Would not recommend but at least they had a very kind staff. This was also back in 2020, not sure if she even works there anymore. But even looking back on the original photos it was not great work. Face was uneven as well. Would not recommend

I had an amazing experience at this tattoo shop for my first tattoo. Mike was absolutely great professional, patient, and very welcoming. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and took the time to explain everything, which really helped calm my nerves. I’m extremely happy with how my tattoo turned out, and he truly made my first tattoo experience worth it. I would definitely recommend Mike and this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo.
