Relaxed vibe, super talented artists and the shop just looks and feels cool as soon as you walk in. I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. Great communication throughout the process and clear aftercare instructions. These guys are all lovely humans.

I truly can’t put into words how much I appreciate Tamar’s artwork at Good Things Tattoo. After doing a tattoo, then going through laser for 2.5 years, and then ending up with another cover-up that I still wasn’t happy with, I honestly felt quite defeated. But the moment I booked my tattoo retreat with Tamar in Swellendam, I just knew everything was finally going to fall into place. Even though my sleeve is still a work in progress, I am already beyond happy with what we’ve created together. Tamar is incredibly talented, her attention to detail, her care, and the genuine love she pours into her work are so evident in every piece she creates. She has such a calming presence, and I’ve felt completely comfortable and confident in her hands from the very beginning. What stands out most is the trust I have in her. After everything I’ve been through with this piece, finding an artist like Tamar has been such a gift. I’m so excited to continue and complete my sleeve with her. I can wholeheartedly recommend Good Things Tattoo. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely amazing experience! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which instantly makes you feel comfortable. The studio has such a cool vibe and atmosphere—creative, relaxed, and just all-around awesome. The artists are super professional and insanely talented, and you can really see the passion they put into their work. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and would highly recommend this studio to anyone!

I've gotten a handful of tattoos from different artists at Good Things and every time has been wonderful experience, between the beautiful artistry, the vibe of the shop and the relaxed and welcoming humans. Most recently I've had a number of sessions with Tamar for a large back piece and I can only sing her praises. Definitely worth a visit to her peaceful home studio in stunning Swellendam. Definitely my favorite tattoo studio in Cape Town!
