I have had several tattoos done by Mark and they have all been incredible. He is an excellent artist and his attention to the small details is amazing. His new shop is very clean and cool. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Mark did a phenomenal job with my sleeve tattoo. From the very beginning, he really took the time to understand my vision and what I was hoping to achieve. He listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, and offered creative input that elevated the design while staying true to what I wanted. His attention to detail is incredible! Im so happy the way it came out.

I worked with Mark on a tattoo sleeve and it turned out absolutely incredible. This was my first time getting tattooed and he was incredibly professional, helped work through and bring my ideas to life and also worked extremely efficiently. Not to mention he is extremely talented.

Mark is the best tattoo artist around. I was one of Mark’s first customers when he started out and he’s become one of the best tattoo artists in Boston. This is my 5th tattoo with Mark, and I’m always delighted with his service and artistry. He always takes his time and creates the most amazing pieces. Mark is a true artist! He does fantastic realism work! The photos speak for themselves! Mark is very patient and thorough. The shop is very clean and Mark operates in a clean and professional manner. I gave Mark creative control of my tattoo, all I suggested was dark/scenic/realism and he CRUSHED it. If you have your heart set on certain designs, he will never try to change your push you in a direction that doesn't suit your desire. This is hands down the best artist in the city. Communication from first meeting, to design, to each session scheduling, to after care has been incredible. I have never had such luck with any other artist. I have about 12hrs of work at Back Bay Ink and have more to go, look forward to my next appt! This is a TRUE artist and a prime example of what a tattoo shop should be!
